About Us

We are an inspection company, based out of Sudbury, serving the industry on the Greater Sudbury area and beyond. North Bay, Timmins, Barrie, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay.

Our goal is to protect your engineered structures, with the quality issues that arise during the manufacturing process, welding / coating application, or in the field.

In a timely, cost effective manner, we can provide you a high level of involvement with your quality assurance requirements.

Our founder, Dikran Chichoyan, P.Eng. has 15 years of experience in the steel welding industry fabrication shops, the inspections companies and the engineering firms.

We provide CWB visual welding inspection services to the steel fabrication industry based on the CSA W178.2 certified inspectors standard and according to these code endorsements:

CSA W47.1/W59, Welded Steel Construction
CSA S6, Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code
CSA S16, Design of steel structures
ASME - B31.1 Power Piping
ASME - B31.3 Process Piping

We provide NDT (Magnetic Particle Testing) services to detect surface and near to surface defects in ferromagnetic materials. We also provide Ultrasonic Testing for the detection and location of subsurface defects and to determine the extent of corrosion in steel plates. We are certified to CGSB standard CGSB-48.9712-2014

We provide NACE coating inspection services and verify the products compliance with the specifications at the contractor’s paint shop or in the field.
Making sure the work (metallizing, galvanizing and/or a paint system) is performed according to the clients requirements and following these industry standards:

SSPC (The Society for Protective Coatings)
AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance)
ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)

We have experience with the Ministry of Transportation (Ontario / Quebec) bridge projects, fabrication shops involved in transmission line pylons, railroad filtration products and manufacturing mining equipment and OPG hydroelectric generating stations.
